What are the most essential components of your artistic practice?

Essentials change and expand with time. Currently, it is essential for my practice to be grounded and curious. Have a social component and be accessible.

How do you interact with space when creating a project?

I see space as nothing physical. For example, the space within the moving image is not necessarily physical, yet holds an important place in my practice. Furthermore, I take into consideration the personal space of the individual, especially how and where it meets my practice.

What is the role of text in developing images?

Text plays a big role in creating works, however, it isn’t always as visible as text. Sometimes the text transforms into sound, images, or objects.

What reaction do you attempt to provoke in your audience through your work?

I hope I can create a dialogue and a space for sharing ideas. I think art has its limitations and understanding them gives you more agency when trying to create a discourse or exchange.

What is the role of the research approach in contemporary art?

Before determining the role one has to define research. In creative practice, research takes various forms. It can be material research, field research, or just observations. I believe it plays a big role in most practices, yet it isn’t always defined as research.
