Sincerity, unintentionality and openness.
Space is the leading element for me. A lot of things are born out of what a space allows or made for a particular place. This is most true for the exhibitions. Someone had said years ago that the exhibition is the most important work - this has become something of a maxim for me. The space draws the framework of perception - what you do in it sets the rhythm, very clearly shows what and how you can or cannot do. If you want what you make to be seen, to touch and to be understood, then I think it's definitely good to make friends with space. It leads by the hand, so to speak.
Decisive and fundamental. Although text often means one word to me. It can be a quote or a thought, words of people talking on the street, but definitely more often short texts are the beginning of searches and sequences of thoughts.
Self-absorption "everyone for himself", sometimes catharsis, most of all I strive not to interfere and not to manipulate the process of relationship between the works and the observer, BUT to create an environment in which to calm the viewer, to give him/her the opportunity to get out of his/her everyday life and be able to look and see, from there on unknown are the ways of the inner worlds...
I think it is much talked about, and although it is often practiced, in most cases the result is rather superficial, lacking emotional expression and becoming wordy with understated content. To put it another way, lots of words, lots of information, but few thoughts and quintessences.
