I believe that the essential components of my work are to use the most suitable means and technique for the construction of the object that represents my thought and to address universal themes in a simple way, despite the fact that the process of creating my work is often complex.
It always depends on the project I'm working on. It is above all the commissioned works that interact with the space that surrounds them. The environment, the space, is the first thing I start from when I am commissioned a work.
In some cases the text can be helpful in understanding the meaning of the work, the intentions of the artist and the historical and social context in which the work was created. However, art should be free to be interpreted differently by each observer as the work often has an emotional and spiritual impact that goes beyond its literal meaning. It can have even more than one meaning, and it can even be mutable with time and space.
I am very attentive to what I can provoke in the viewer with my artistic research, even if it is not always the same thing for every project I have done. Let's say that the main aspect I want to arouse in the observer is to reflect deeply in front of the work.
The world, the human and its interiority,...everything!
